Thanksgiving 2008

This year we spent Thanksgiving in town and made our very own turkey! Actually...Matt gets all the credit for the bird. It was very good...great job babe!!!! Maybe next year i'll actually touch poultry skin....YUCK! Grandma and Grandpa Fitz came over that night and had dessert with us...pumpkin pie...yummy!

The following day we took off for Beaverville (Corvallis, Oregon for those who don't know what i'm talking about). We hung out at the house all day Friday, enjoyed another wonderful turkey feast and then took off for the big holiday parade in downtown Corvallis. I would LOVE to say Kaiden had a blast watching the parade, but really he had more fun running up and down the street getting all sweaty and telling us about it. No Joke!

The typical Kaiden smile!

Isn't he a model!!!

He is such a lover!

You wouldn't know it, but Conley had a icky cold all weekend and put up a HUGE fight each time we tried to put him down. When we weren't trying to get him down he was happy as can be! FIGURES!!!!!!

Running around at the parade.

Kaiden took this great shot of his Grammy!

Uncle Jake...what can I possibly say about this photo? If anyone was questioning his sexuality, this shot may close the deal!

The Smith's Being Funny

I have to thank Aunt Ra Ra for this one! She sent us a video recently of her, Jerod and Ari. So of course I had to make one of us. I'll post a better one in a couple weeks.

Men At Work!

Last weekend we took use of the beautiful weather and cleaned up the yard. Kaiden was a big help and was cleaning up daddy's mess that he threw down from the gutters...YUCK!

Playing in the yard

Prior to the big leaf clean up, i was able to catch a few shots of the boys in the leaves. Kaiden was NOT a fan of sitting in cold wet leaves (first born...ha). Conley on the other hand was perfectly fine and trying to eat the leaves and dirt.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall...

Can you tell this little man LOVES to check himself out in the mirror!!!
Gosh he makes me melt every time he smiles.

The Legs Are FINALLY Healed!

The day has finally come...Kaiden is officially break free!!!!! Tuesday evening his last cast came off. He was very happy and has made it clear that he doesn't want another cast on any time soon.
Now we need to work on beefing up those skinny little legs!

Peek-A-Boo

The boys and I had fun playing peek-a-boo with each other the other night.

Early Turkey Dinner at the Fitzgerald Home

This last Sunday, the Fitzgerald clan got together to take our annual holiday photo and have our Thanksgiving turkey dinner! The dinner was early, but man oh man did it get us excited for the upcoming holiday season!!! Taking photos with a family that keeps growing was pretty funny. Everyone was dressed up in something "fire" oriented. In addition we had props like you wouldn't believe surrounding us. Mom topped off the photo with a full on fire turnout shot. Jenn Komp (Jennifery Lynn Photography) took the photos and we know they turned out great! We can't wait to see just how good our family looked...ha!
Here are a few photos of the Fitzgerald grandbabies in their matching PJ's and a few other silly photos of the rest of the gang hanging around the house last night.

Happy Halloween

Halloween 2008 was spent over at Grandma & Grandpa Fitz's house. We got together with cousin Ari (Skeleton) for some dinner and then got dressed up in our costumes. Kaiden is still not to sure on putting any pressure on his newly casted leg, so going trick or treating was kind of out of the question. He was happy handing out candy to all of the kids that came to the door and stealing all of grandpa's Snickers away from him.
We look forward to Halloween 2009 with limbs free of casts and children running
from house to house!
