Garage Sale Weekend

This weekend we had a HUGE garage sale. By huge, I mean we made nearly $860.00! We easily could have made more, but our main objective was to get rid of everything we could so we had less to take to Goodwill. So...we were pretty good about taking offers after the first few hours. I took somke shots of all the "stuff" we sold, but i'll spare you those details. MAJOR thanks goes out to my wonderful mom! I couldn't have done the sale without! Heck...I couldn't do much in my life without you and dad! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!!
Below are some shots of the boys learning how to make some wishes this afternoon. Thanks to our neighbors BEAUTIFUL yard...the boys were able to make lots of wishes!

Mom & Dad got rid of their 35 year album collection. Us kids pretty much destroyed the albums in our younger days, but mom and dad still had the chest of memories. The chest...mom and dad's first coffee table and purchase from Saturday Market now resides in Kaiden's room. For now, it's the home for his monkey collection.

Our Adorable Boys

We have got the sweetest and best kids ever! Yes they're spoiled, but man...when they smile at you or ask so kindly...we just melt! The sun FINALLY out it was time to sport the summer shades. We've got to protect those beautiful green eyes!

A Picnic At The Park With The Leedy's

Prior to the start of the poopy Blazer game, we got together with the Leedy's at the park for a picnic. Tracy and I have had the hardest time getting our families together. The last time we saw them Sam was a month old and he's now almost 8 months! SAD!!!!! Juggling our schedules, holidays and the kids getting sick off and on makes it so darn hard for us to meet up.
We had a great time and so hope we can get together much sooner then later!

Tracy and little Sam - he's not so little anymore! Go Sam...catch up to Max!!!

Evening Fun

The other night we had a wonderful sun set. While I was getting the boys ready for bed, they were playing around with their new backpacks from Grandma Fitz and drawing me some photos. Conley wasn't to happy about Kaiden trying to help him with his backpack, but he sure was in to watching him draw on his doodle pad.

Easter Day Fun

The boys woke up bright and early this morning (6:00AM) and dove right in to the baskets/gifts the Easter Bunny left them. After Conley's morning nap, we took off to meet up with Uncle Jake at Catherine's parents house. Thank you to her parents for a wonderful breakfast brunch, egg hunt for our boys and making us feel at home.

Upon our return home, it was back to playing with the gifts from the Easter Bunny. Kaiden wouldn't take off his hard hat and goggles. Conley wouldn't put down his new vacuum. You would think they were both ramped from candy with the energy they were full of, but nope...they were just being boys.

FINALLY...After reading a couple books, Kaiden and I sat down to watch a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before going to bed.

Egg Hunt In Our Backyard With Friends

After swim lessons this morning, we had the a crew of Maximites and their children over for an egg hunt in our backyard. Over the last few years we've all been very spoiled with me putting together a large event for the company. When the event was suspended, due to hard economic times, I thought it would be nice to at least put together a small hunt for a group of us.

The kids had a great time. Aside from little Lucy (3 months) the backyard was filled with all boys running around. They all got along...which of course was a major plus for us parents.

Decorating Easter Eggs

After Kaiden woke up from his nap today we set out to start our egg coloring mission. He helped me every step of the way. From putting the water in the containers, to dying the eggs to finally decorating them. We had lots of fun and didn't make a single mess. Well...that is we didn't make a mess until we came back into the house and he wanted to wash his hands. Before i knew it, the kitchen floor had an inch of water on it and the counter was hosting its own pool. NICE!!!!
