A Busy Weekend

This weekend seems pretty crazy. As of Friday morning, there were no plans for the weekend. Matt worked Saturday, but that was all I had figured out. By Friday night and had all of Saturday booked and Sunday figured out. So typical that a plan was set into motioin! HA

Here was the crazy weekend agenda:

Saturday - walk up early with the boys, breakfast, run, hop in the car and drive to Scappoose for a playdate with Ashlynn Komp. Back home for naps, clean house a bit and then prep for a playdate with cousin Ari. Make dinner, play with the kids, get the kids down and then crash!

Sunday - pancake breakfast with Kaiden, baths, errands with Kaiden while Conley and Matt took a nap, back home to feed the boys lunch and then play in the sprinkler and pool for an hour. Naps for the boys, 30 minutes of sun time for me, back in the house to start planning our Michigan trip, grocery store, dinner, downtime with the boys and bed!

Maybe to some that doesn't sound like much...but when you work a 40+ hour workweek and then go go go on the weekend...it's tiring! BUT...I love it!

Happy Father's Day

This afternoon the boys and I went to visit Matt at the station! Today was day four of four with him gone working. The boys were very happy to see their daddy. I'm sure the boys will make sure they have Matt in their site all day tomorrow!

Saturday Afternoon Fun

Saturday we went to my cousin Jenny's College Graduation Party. We were only there for a few hours, but man-o-peet the boys sure did tire me out.

Early Father's Day Celebration

Friday evening the Fitz's (minus Matty since he was was working) got together to celebrate Dad's day. I just love seeing the cousins get together and run the household! Ari is sooo close to walking. Just wait Jerod & Maria...it's going to happen and you're world is going to change!

Tigard Balloon Festival

Friday morning the boys and I met up with Jenn and Ashlynn Komp to check out the Tigard Balloon Festival. NO BALLOONS!!!! We were so bummed b/c we knew the kids would be so impressed with them. Instead we enjoyed some amusement rides and fun. The kids had a great time and Jenn and I got some great shots. More photos to come from this event!

Ceremony Night

Last night was Kaiden's second award ceremony at The Little Gym. He was so excited to get his second award and medal. As soon as he got it he instructed me to put the award certificate on the refrigerator with his other one.

Award night is also family night, so Conley got to play around with Kaiden too. Now both boys are enrolled in the same class for the summer. It will be fun for both of them to run around and play with the other little kids and learn new skills.
