Disney On Ice

Yesterday afternoon we took the boys to see Disney On Ice. We have yet to introduce Little Mermaid, Lion King or Tinkerbell to the boys, but oh man...do they know all about CARS! Ever since I knew DOI was coming, i've been so excited to take the boys. Kaiden was so excited and sitting on the edge of his seat. It was GREAT!

Look at excitement on his face!!

This was his face when he saw Mater come out.

Pumpkin Carving 2009

After a long week at the office, i came home to eating a quick dinner and then we jumped right into carving our pumpkins. The boys weren't really all that into the scooping out of the insides. It was pretty funny!
YUCK!!!!
NICE!
My buddy! He was so cute last night after Conley went down.
My new favorite photo of us.

Kaiden chose the witch and i carved it out. Yes...i cheated and used a template!

An Afternoon in Corvallis

Last Saturday we headed down to Corvallis to meet the newest member of the family, Bob, and hang out with the family. The boys bonded with Bob right away. Kaiden was most interested in walking Bob, while Conley wanted to give Bob kisses every chance he got. It was adorable!
Since the day was so beautiful, we took the opportunity to hit up a pumpkin patch with the family in Corvallis. Grammy, Bompie, Bob, Jake and Cat joined the four of us on our trip to the patch. We all had a great time and found some great pumpkins. Photos of the our creations for this year will be posted next weekend. I believe the current plan is to carve up some creations Friday evening.
While dinner was finishing up, Kaiden and I took a walk around the neighborhood to work out an appetite. His monkey's needed some fresh air too...LOL!

I asked Kaiden to blow a wish for me! Not sure what he wished for, but I hope it's come true!

Grammy and Kaiden testing their strength...do you see a theme yet? LOL

Matt's crazy find.
Stay tuned for what this turns into. Mr. Creative will come up with something cool!

Happy Birthday Uncle Jerod!!!!

Hard to believe this was 11 years ago! Jerod, Kristen and I at El Presidente in Corvallis, Oregon. What was the big celebration you may ask...do the math...Jerod's 21er!!! Oh the memories! Best one I think we all recall...him singing Sweet Caroline with a large glass (might have actually been a pitcher) of beer. It was awesome! Happy Birthday Bro and Uncle!!!!

Marathon Day

First and most importantly...congrats to my girls April and Megan for training and finishing their first ever marathon!!!!! It wasn't easy and they were hurting when i made them smile for this photo...but they did it. They completed a marathon!!!!! Way to go girls!

The boys and I met the girls at mile 19 (University of Portland area) to cheer them on and help them out with anything they needed (braces, food, drink, love and support). Kaiden was just watching and checking things out. Conley on the other hand was cheering everyone and going around giving high fives to everyone that passed us. It was AWESOME!!!

Some day i hope to have time to train for the event. Not sure when I'll get that chance, but maybe some day.

A Visit to the Bush House

This morning we went over to my friend Malynda & Adam's house to see their horses. Kaiden had been talking about the horses ever since Sunriver and we finally made it out to Gaston for a visit.
The boys were super cute. Conley was really in love with the horses (Spence & Chestnut) and even more in love with their dogs (Bella & Bindy).
Kaiden enjoyed walking Spence and then loving on the dogs. It was very cute.

Matt & Adam...guy talk!
