Holiday Post Update

Well....I was going to sit here and post a number of photos from early last week through to today, but my connection in Eastern Oregon is taking way to long just to upload one photo :(  Sorry family and friends...guess everyone will have to wait til Thursday night/Friday morning to catch up on what the Smith's have been up to over the last week.

Kaiden's Class Holiday Party

Friday was Kaiden's class holiday party!  Myself and another mom stepped up earlier in the year to be the room mom for the class and apparently we've been voted to remain the room mom's throughout the kids years at St. Cecilia.  Kudos to Maria and I for our event planning skills :)

To ensure we made the kids holiday even more special, i asked Santa Don to stop by and spend a few minutes with each child.  Santa Don helped me out with my company holiday party earlier in December.  He's amazing and the children LOVE him.

To make the memory ultra special, I had each child go home with a framed photo of them and santa.  The stress of printing the photos wasn't great on my soon to be 35 year old ticker...but it was worth it.  Kaiden LOVES his photo so much that he hung it on the wall next to his pillow.

Once again, Kaiden told Santa that he wants the Polar Express Train for Christmas.  I can't wait until he sees the train on the 25!  Getting him to leave the house and head over to my parents is going to be a miracle.  He won't want to leave his train.

Holiday Cookie Decorating

This last week I started another annual holiday tradition with the boys...cookie decorating.  The boys had a good time and were proud of their decorating skills.  I've had at least two cookies each day...maybe I should give more thought to the holiday traditions.  LOL  Next one just might have to be a Christmas fun run!!

Kaiden was very proud of the last cookie he decorated.

Kaiden's Christmas Pageant

Wednesday was Kaiden's first ever school pageant.  It was fantastic...I was laughing so hard I was crying.  All 23 kids were amazing and on their best behavior!
Major kudos to Mrs. Blair, Miss Alexandria and Mrs. Shaw!!!

The videos below are our favorites from the show.

A Ride on the Polar Express

Tonight my parents treated us to a trip on the Mt. Hood Railroad Polar Express.  Aside from the motion sickness, the trip was fantastic!!  The train ride was as close to the movie as possible and children loved every second of it!  The hot chocolate, the music, the stopping b/c there are deer on the track, the train conductor punching the kids tickets, etc....it was great!

Thank you to my parents for another wonderful memory with my boys and family!  Love you both dearly and will never be able to show you just how thankful I am!!!

Company Holiday Party

This last weekend was the 12th Holiday Party I've planned for my company.  Each party comes with a new obstacle, but this party seem to come with several.  Once all was said and done...it was a fantastic weekend!  Smiles throughout the party and hotel.  I never could have pulled the weekend off without my fabulous friends and family who really pitched in to help me out.  Thank you all!!!!!!

Below are some photos of the boys and one of their best buddies Ashlynn Komp, aka...the future Mrs. Smith :)

Conley was scared of Santa at first so he clung to my leg.

Halloween Fun

Halloween weekend was full of fun and laughter.  The boys had a great time trick-or-treating and have yet to touch their candy.  In fact, since i've returned from my conference, i've been eating it all!!

The Fitz's dressed up for Halloween!  FYI...I hate dressing I participated this year.  I went as Civil War, but it came across as a confused Oregonian.  HA..that works too!

Scarecrow & Ironman...Superman took awhile to join us.
