Our Little Artists

Here are some photos of our little men working on a recent art project. The project was Kaiden's idea. When he and I purchased the material for Ari's Thomas blanket he saw these mini birdhouses and wanted one. For $1.00...why not!

The houses are now hanging in the backyard. I'm not a fan of birds, in fact I really dislike them...but having the boys art outside my kitchen window makes me want to purchase a couple more for them to decorate :)

If you too have little artists...then you need to invest in these paint containers. A fat brush fits inside them perfectly and keep paint from spilling. On top of it all, they come with a lid to conserve the paint if desired. LOVE THEM!!!! Kaiden's is on the left and Conley's is on the right.
Conley was still interested in painting, so i handed him a spare canvas.
He LOVES anything art related!
Watch out Jackson Pollack!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ari Fitz!!

Yesterday was Ari's (my nephew's) 2nd birthday. Ari is amazing and no joke...has a photographic memory! He will repeat everything you say and retain it...it's amazing. About two months ago my mother sang him a song and he turned around and sang it right back to her!!!!

The day was perfect for some playing outside, patio chalk writing, face painting, tattoo art and so much more.

The boys were tackling their Aunt Angie!

Laila Kaiel hanging out watching everyone!
Great Grandpa Kaiel...how cute is he with his face all painted!
Even Uncle Josh got into the face painting.Milan Skoro looking dashing with his face painted.
Nina Skoro...look at those big brown eyes! Kaiden and Conley played in these cars the entire time we were at the party.

YUMMO...Birthday Cupcakes!

What an adorable family!

I just think this photo is funny.
Angie cracking up at something...she's always smiling and laughing...I like that about you Ang!!
Rick...well...i'm not sure what he was thinking!
But then again, guessing what Rick is thinking would be a bit scary!!! LOL
Ari cared more about his lollipops then he did about his presents.
He wouldn't put either of them down while Maria and Jerod helped open his gifts.

Ari's new Thomas blanket that Kaiden and I made him. Hope you like it Ari!
How cute are these two boys?

Kaiden loves Fival

Just over a month ago, I ran across the movie "An American Tail." I LOVED the movie when i was a kid and really hoped Kaiden and Conley would too. The minute i put the movie on they were in love. The biggest hit was when 'my song', as I refer to it with them, came on and I sang it to them. Now the boys walk around the house, yard, grocery store,...pretty much anywere singing 'my song.'

Here is a clip of Kaiden singing the song this morning. Normally Conley joins in, but i guess he wasn't in the mood this morning.

Grammy's 60th Celebration

This last weekend we took a trip to Pacific City to celebrate Cathy's (Grammy's) 60th birthday. Considering the weather has been so crazy in Oregon over the last few weeks it was hard to know what a trip to the beach was going to turn into. There were many storms, but there were also many breaks. One break in fact the sun and clear sky actually broke through and it reminded us just how wonderful the Oregon coast is!

The boys LOVED the beach. The house we stayed out was right on the beach and there was a giant hill we had to climb down. Lets just say the boys spent lots of time rolling down the hill, laughing, smiling and just being kids.
I got one photo of the three boys actually looking at the camera, but I like this photo the best.

Grammy so was happy and felt so special!!

My new favorite photo with Kaiden.

Happy Mother's Day to all!!!!

What a weekend! The weekend was jam packed with events starting with a pedicure treat for mom and I Friday afternoon. Saturday morning we headed out to Battle Ground, WA for a family bridal shower (photos to follow), home to hang with in-laws and then Sunday was a day of being spoiled by the men in my life. Oh...and best of all....it was an FANTASTIC sunny weekend in Oregon.
Check out Grandma Fitz's moves :)
Matt had to keep up with Grandma of course! I think he won.
My new favorite photo of the three of us!
Oh...by the way, Matt made special shirts for all of us for mom's day.
Conley and I love to stop and smell flowers.
