In just a couple weeks Kaiden has taken off spelling his name!  He's so excited about how he can spell his name and how much fun he is having at school.  He calls me each day he's picked up to report to me if he cried that day or not.  Soooo cute!

Kaiden and Conley taught Ari how to put his hands in the pile and say Go Team!!  Another super cute moment with these three!

Tuesday Night

Date night with Kaiden.  A little 1:1 time the night before his first day of school.  Thanks to our wonderful friend (Tracy Leedy), Kaiden and I went to Starbucks for some hot chocolate and then walked into Barnes & Noble to read some books about going to school.  We had a great time reading a bunch of books and then left with a couple special books to remember our date.  We then went to do a little shopping for a special shirt...yes the purple shirt below is what he picked out.  This kid changes favorite colors like you wouldn't believe.  Now Conley...nope...it's BLUE all the way with him!

Wednesday Morning

8:00AM we were out the door and on our way to Kaiden's school.  Oh man...i don't know who had a harder time...Kaiden or me.  Let's just say it was a typical first day of school where he didn't want me to leave.  Me seeing and hearing him cry just went straight to my heart.  My poor baby wanted me and I had to hold my tears back and do what the teacher needed me to do.  As the morning went on and 12:00PM neared, my blood pressure started going up.  I was super scared what Kaiden was going to say when he saw Matt.  He was super excited to see Matt pick him up, but of course he wasn't happy with mommy for leaving him there.  Oh man...my heart still aches just hearing those words play in my head again.  By that night he was talking about school with his neighbor friends (aka...his girfriends) and feeling a little bit better about school....thank goodness!

Thursdsay

Around 10:00AM I received a phone call with some big news...Kaiden took off the training wheels to his bike and told Matt he was ready.  Matt said OK and Kaiden went for it!  My little boy officially became a big boy in 24 hours by going to school, leaving mommy & daddy and riding a bike all on his own!  Oh man...what happened to the child I gave birth two just four years ago.

Kaiden takes on climbing up hills on his bike!

Conley starts pedaling and realizing how much faster he can be on the bike or big wheel.
