Finally...NEW CARPET!

I've waited for new carpet for years and we now have it!!!  The weekend and week has been long, but the house is finally back in order and the carpet is wonderful.  So wonderful that I have yet to put on my wonderful UGG slippers all week!  Um...if you didn't know...i LOVE my UGG slippers and think everyone should own a pair.  So me not wearing them around our house is not the norm!

This photo may seem odd, but i wanted to point out that we no longer have any transition pieces!!!!

Kaiden's First School Field Trip

Monday and i went with Kaiden and his class on their first field trip of the year to a pumpkin patch out in Tigard.  The kids ran through the haystack maze, checked out the animals, went for a tractor ride to select their own pumpkins and then were given a lesson by the farm owners on potatoes.  The kids had a great time and Kaiden especially had a great time with his buddies....especially his sidekick Tyler.

Pumpkin Patch Trips (1&2)

Two weekends ago we headed to Corvallis to hang out with Grammy & Bompie.  Part of our trip consisted of a visit to a local pumpkin patch and a walk to campus.  We lucked out with the rainy weekend and breaks in rain storms.

Last week we headed to the always famous Sauvie's Island Corn Maize.  We've been going to this pumpkin patch since Kaiden was over a year old.  The boys love going there because there is always so much to do.  The trip was primarily to take a ride on the cow train and go through the corn maize.  All four of us had a blast!!

Rockaway Day Trip

The boys and I met up with my parents, Jerod, Maria and Ari for some crabbing and beach fun yesterday morning.  The Smith boys weren't to sure about getting on the boat and crabbing so they watched from a distance.  Of course they LOVED the boat once it was back at the house and on the trailer.

The boys made some special treats while on the beach.
