After the big surprise, we laid low at Jerod & Maria's to process the news and have a wonderful lunch made by Jerod in honor of mom, Maria and I...THANKS JEROD!
Mr. & Mrs. Fitzgerald the day after their surprise wedding.
How about with...let me introduce you to Mr. & Mrs. Rick Fitzgerald!!!!!!!!
Yes...that is what I said. Rick has been telling us for a few months now that he was planning a surprise birthday/engagement party for Angie. The tables turned when it was actually a surprise wedding. Rick and Angie invited about 60 of their close friends and family and surprised us all. NO one but maybe two people knew of the crazy twist to the nights celebration.
I'm still so shocked, that I woke up this morning feeling as though I was hung over. I was sober the entire night!!!! My head was spinning all night long and thus I got a terrible nights sleep. I should kick my brothers ass for this wonderful surprise...LOL. I mean...mom's day and I didn't even get a good nights sleep...how selfish of him. Totally kidding!!!!!
We couldn't be happier for you guys!!!! Congratulations, we love you both dearly!!!!!!!
Jerod just grabbed some letters. He said he will decide what each letter stands for at a later date.
Jerod & Maria with two of Rick's good friends, Nate and Spencer.
The Ceremony
They were married by a friend who was giving the rights to marry via the internet earlier this week!!!!
We had to wait to start the ceremony b/c Jerod and Maria were running late. This is them walking to the old fire station looking a bit confused as to what's going on.
It's official...this morning was the boys first big upset! Kaiden wouldn't let Conley play with him on a toy and thus Conley took a bite out of Kaiden's face. My poor baby cried like I've never heard him cry before. Conley then went on to try and bite him a few more times throughout the day. Kaiden and I both kept telling him NO, but he was in no mood to listen to either of us.
It wasn't until about 30 minutes before i put him down for the night that i noticed he had finally cut another tooth. That only took 4-5 months of agony for all of us!!!! I'm guessing today's biting came from a ticked off child who is also in pain over the discomfort in his mouth.
Here are some photos of Kaiden's poor little scared face.
