This morning we took Kaiden to the specialist for his foot. It had been over a week and he still wasn't walking on it. The doctor said he had strained his foot pretty good and there was some good swelling in there. She wanted to isolate his foot in a cast to get the injury to heal and at the same time assist Kaiden to get back to walking. Walking...oh my goodness...I came home from work today and say the little man gimping around. It was so sad!!!!!
Getting the cast on his poor little foot felt like hours. He was crying and screaming the entire time we were there. A lot of drama for a little guy his size that's for sure!
The cast will stay on for two weeks and then we head back to the doc to review the injury status. We're pretty sure he will be all healed up by then, but then we will have the wonderful ordeal of having to saw the cast off. Oh man...that day is going to be horrible!
