Conley and Me Day!

After this mornings swim lessons, my mom took Kaiden for a sleep over and I got some well needed one on one time with Conley. Kaiden and I have weekly one on one time at the Little Gym. But Conley and I rarely seem to have a large chunk of time that's just us.

So...today was pretty special!

After nap time, Conley and I hurried to run a few errands and then come home to play in the backyard with the girls (Irie and Guinness). We had a great time running through the sprinklers and trying out the new pool. Yes...I came home from work yesterday to an 8ft round pool in my backyard. Sounds larger then it really looks, but it will be great for the kids all summer. Especially if this heat keeps up.

Lunch time...Conley must have been missing his brother today. He wouldn't go anywhere without his frog.

So, the frog got to each lunch with him.

Saturday we celebrated Ari's big first birthday!!!! I can't believe it has almost been a year since this little man came into our lives. Kaiden and Conley are so in love with their little cousin.

Celebrating Grammy's Birthday

Today we spent a wonderful day in C-Town (Corvallis) celebrating Grammy Spieth's birthday. We also learned a few new things about the boys. Read on to find out what we learned. Matt is a clown! First we stopped at 7-Eleven to get a drink yesterday and he purchased these shades. Then we stopped today on our way out of town and he purchased this hat. He sported the new HOT look all day. As Kaiden would say...OH, HOW CUTE!

Today we learned that Kaiden is ready to attack the slopes next winter! I don't know if i'm excited, nervous or just trying to prepare myself for the many years of panic ahead!

We also learned he likes to kick it in the sun with his shades on.

Conley...today we learned this child LOVES dirt and must have a green thumb!

Weekend of Showers

Last weekend was the marathon of wedding showers for my cousin Kristen. Saturday her soon to be sister-in-law and bridesmaid Heidi hosted the Herberholtz family shower and then Sunday my Aunt Meme (with the support of our six other aunts) hosted the Fitzgerald family shower.

It was a very long weekend, but it was so nice to see just about everyone. Our cousin Erica was deeply missed, but we can't wait to see her smiling face this summer at the wedding!

Big day is August 22nd!!!
