Weekend of Showers

Last weekend was the marathon of wedding showers for my cousin Kristen. Saturday her soon to be sister-in-law and bridesmaid Heidi hosted the Herberholtz family shower and then Sunday my Aunt Meme (with the support of our six other aunts) hosted the Fitzgerald family shower.

It was a very long weekend, but it was so nice to see just about everyone. Our cousin Erica was deeply missed, but we can't wait to see her smiling face this summer at the wedding!

Big day is August 22nd!!!

Lori's BEAUTIFUL Mad Hatter cake made especially and by request for Kristen. If I shared with you how much work went into the making of this cake, you would wonder how my wonderful aunt was even able to cut into it that afternoon!
